Our winner of the loan car initiative this year is Ms Deborah Fry from Derbyshire. She was the outstanding candidate this year amongst many candidates applying to borrow the car for the 2018 season. We will hand over the keys at the restoration show on Sunday 25th March. She has promised to keep us all informed in our MM each month of her experiences with the car. I am sure we all look forward to meeting up with Deborah at shows and our own National Rally in August. Well done Deborah.

Great news from the latest VSCC Newsletter.
The VSCC (Vintage Sports Car Club) has now added the 1931-1934 Morris Minor Side Valve car to their PVT (Post Vintage Thoroughbred) eligibility list. After many years of vigorous lobbying by Clubs, including Ian Grace’s Vintage Minor Register, this is fantastic news. Morris Minor owners have always seen it as an anomaly that the Austin Seven was included a few years ago but the little Morris was not.
The decision will not affect the Light Car & Edwardian Section eligibility which will remain solely for pre-1931 light cars in standard form.
